A unique combination mask and spirit wheel with central copper face featuring wide open eyes and a happy smile, the face rimmed with a white rabbit fur ruff and further accented with a 2/3 copper ring. The outer ring depicts an incised whale head to the left, a fluke to the right, and a pair of whale hunters in a boat perched upon the stylized backbone of the whale, one hunter wielding a harpoon while the other has a double-bladed paddle. The sculpture is mounted to a wooden block base and measures approximately 16.5" x 2.5" x 14" tall.

A pair of complementary artworks, including a spirit wheel and a mask, both signed en verso by artist Cekpik. The wheel features a central carved wood mask surrounded by two bentwood hoops, eight feathers, and six appendages, including a seal face, two fore flippers, two hind flippers, and a tail. The second artwork, the mask, is surrounded by a crown of feathers with five wooden pendulums hanging off the bottom attached to the mask by pieces of carved baleen. Spirit wheel measures approximately 14" x 4" x 15" tall when upright.
