A vintage Westinghouse Vapor Proof green industrial light fixture. Likely dating from the 1920s lamps such as this were the product of the American Industrial Revolution as iconified by the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair wherein George Westinghouse debuted his first models of electric streetlamp.
