Also includes a carved seal figure, mounted upon a piece of driftwood with baleen, ivory, and stone artifacts; signed on the underside by Aleut artist Peter Stipitin of Akutan, Alaska, c.2006. Totem pole measures approximately 4.75" x 2.5" x 8.75" tall.

A finely detailed Alaska sculpture depicting a traditional hunter in a carved cottonwood kayak. The seated figure is rendered in two soapstone examples, with a deeply carved face of walrus tusk. He clutches a baleen paddle, with his baleen, tusk, and sinew harpoon at his side. His captured prey, a soapstone seal, rests on the bow, and his soapstone seal float upon the stern. Signed c.1996 on the underside by Robert Johnson from Eagle River, Alaska, the piece is named "Spirit Hunter." Measures approximately 17" x 6" x 3.75" tall.

A finely crafted lidded basket with a cylindrical body and flat lid. The tightly woven form exhibits exceptional control and even tension, with a continuous coil construction that transitions seamlessly between lid and base. The woven strips display a richly variegated palette, ranging from warm golden browns to deep charcoal blacks, lending a subtle iridescence to the surface. The lid fits precisely, and the basket's vertical walls are straight and uniform - hallmarks of experienced craftsmanship. Measures approximately 8.75" in diameter x 3.75" tall.

A stunning handcrafted spotted seal fur teddy bear with big eyes, a deep black nose, and a sparkling blue and gold ribbon tied around his neck. Signed on the bottom of one foot by acclaimed fiber artist Linda Skelton of Homer, Alaska, and marked "#1 - 2000" upon the other foot. Bear measures approximately 14.5" x 19" tall.

A vintage coiled grass Yup'ik wall pouch/basket with geometric, rose, and figurative design elements; basket exhibits a light overall patina, and some wear to the hanging loop, as photographed. Measures approximately 7.5" x 3.5" x 19.5" tall.

A striking carving of a standing fisherman fashioned from fossilized whalebone. The figure features a detailed walrus ivory face inset within a broad incised parka hood, and accented with baleen dots upon the parka cuffs and hem, plus the top edge of each mukluk. A natural fur bag for holding his catch is slung over his shoulder, and his fishing sticks are in hand with a single walrus ivory fish at the end of the line. Unsigned, the fisherman stands upon a fossilized base, and the sculpture measures approximately 10.75" x 6.5" x 16.5" tall.

Handcrafted seal fur gloves featuring leather palms, white fur trim, and beaded flower motif accents. They each measure approximately 4.5" x 8.5" long.

An Alaska Native drummer doll, signed by Yup'ik dollmaker Beulah Oittillian (20th Century) of Gamble, Alaska, with carved walrus ivory facial details and a whalebone base; the parka and other clothes are crafted from multiple furs, seal gut, hide, and hair. Measures approximately 6.5" x 5" x 7.5" tall.

Beautiful handmade Kuspuk-parka in a floral pattern material featuring a zip-up front, quilted lining, with a fox or wolf fur-trimmed collar and the bottom hem lined in fur. Initialed "G.O." on the underside by Yup'ik artist Gordon Oosevaseuk of Gambell, St. Lawrence Island, Alaska. Measures approximately 2" x 3.5" x 6.25" tall.

The otter stands upright with front paws positioned close together in a lifelike pose that captures curiosity and alertness. Piece is initialed "QAY" on the underside for the prominent Gambell, Alaska carver Ron Apangalook (shortened from his Yup'ik name Qaygeghutkaq.) Measures approximately 8.25" x 4" x 19.5" tall.

A finely executed scrimshaw walrus tusk depicting an expansive Arctic lifestyle scene. The imagery extends along the curvature of the tusk and features two women cooking, a man talking to a child, a woman using an ulu to prepare a seal, a woman sewing, a man and woman conversing, and much more in the background. The tusk rests upon a natural fragment of fossilized tusk bark. Signed within the scene by artist F. Miller. Tusk alone measures approximately 20" x 2.75" x 1.75" tall.
