A hand-carved and painted wooden totem pole with characteristic red, teal, and black formline art, mounted upon a teal base and signed en verso by Tlingit artist Lincoln Wallace from Sitka, Alaska. The wings and base were reported to be loose at time of cataloging. Also includes a carved seal figure, mounted upon a piece of driftwood with baleen, ivory, and stone artifacts; signed on the underside by Aleut artist Peter Stipitin of Akutan, Alaska, c.2006. Totem pole measures approximately 4.75" x 2.5" x 8.75" tall.

A finely detailed Alaska sculpture depicting a traditional hunter in a carved cottonwood kayak. The seated figure is rendered in two soapstone examples, with a deeply carved face of walrus tusk. He clutches a baleen paddle, with his baleen, tusk, and sinew harpoon at his side. His captured prey, a soapstone seal, rests on the bow, and his soapstone seal float upon the stern. Signed c.1996 on the underside by Robert Johnson from Eagle River, Alaska, the piece is named "Spirit Hunter." Measures approximately 17" x 6" x 3.75" tall.

A striking carving of a standing fisherman fashioned from fossilized whalebone. The figure features a detailed walrus ivory face inset within a broad incised parka hood, and accented with baleen dots upon the parka cuffs and hem, plus the top edge of each mukluk. A natural fur bag for holding his catch is slung over his shoulder, and his fishing sticks are in hand with a single walrus ivory fish at the end of the line. Unsigned, the fisherman stands upon a fossilized base, and the sculpture measures approximately 10.75" x 6.5" x 16.5" tall.

The imagery extends along the curvature of the tusk and features two women cooking, a man talking to a child, a woman using an ulu to prepare a seal, a woman sewing, a man and woman conversing, and much more in the background. The tusk rests upon a natural fragment of fossilized tusk bark. Signed within the scene by artist F. Miller. Tusk alone measures approximately 20" x 2.75" x 1.75" tall.
