Four black-and-white photographs, two of them of an Alaska Native mother and her child, one of a traditional kayak hunter, and one of Tlingit raven rattles, all directly from the estate of Harvey (1900-1980) and Ellen Goodale (1915-1991). Of particular interest, original pencil sketches and paint marks can be found on the backside of each photo, demonstrating their use as reference material. Stamps indicate development at Mac's Foto Shop, a studio located in downtown Anchorage along 4th Avenue, owned by Alaska photographer/politician Steve McCutcheon, and heavily damaged by the 1964 earthquake.
