    A bracelet crafted from twelve panels of walrus ivory, each larger panel depicting a man in his sled and his sled dog team, the figures accented with black scrimshaw. Signed on the inside by Iñupiaq artist James Omiak, Sr. (1933-2021), originally of Little Diomede, Alaska. The panels are mounted on two lengths of stretch cord and, combined, designed to fit a wrist measuring approximately 8" in circumference.

Figurine is accented with inlaid baleen and stone dots for the eyes, vibrissae, and parka ruff. Spear is removable as shown, and the ivory figurine measures approximately 1.75" x 1" x 5" tall without the spear in place.

                  Three scrimshaw tooth and walrus ivory Billikens pendants, mythical good-luck figures popular in mid-century Alaska and characterized by squat rounded bodies, large smiles, and exaggerated ears. "Rub his tummy, tickle his toes, he'll bring you good luck, as the story goes." Each is accented with a mix of inlaid baleen dots and black scrimshaw line art, and has drilled holes at either the top or bottom; the two ivory examples are crafted from tusks, sliced in half, exposing the interior upon the back side. The 0.75" x 0.75" x 2" tall tooth is mounted upon a gold-toned necklace chain measuring approximately 18" long.
