Join us at the Alaska Zoo for "Champions of the Wild", our annual summer fundraising gala. We are celebrating 56 years of community and wildlife service. We provide care and homes for wildlife in need, as determined by wildlife agency staff. Spring and summer are expensive times for our nonprofit zoo as we take in orphaned and injured wildlife who need emergency veterinary care from our animal team, around-the-clock monitoring, special nutrition and facilities. Your presence and contributions to the zoo at this event through tickets, auction items and donations will help us to cover some of these expenses. We truly appreciate your support.
