Wonderful U.S. Post Office piece of Americana, manufactured by The Sadler Company (c. late 19th to early 20th Century). The post office box window has visible numbered mail slots on either side of the teller's cage, a drop-off mail slot, and eight keyless lock boxes below. In shown condition, with loose, marked, or missing pieces, and additional brackets used for wall mount. Measures approximately 54" x 10.5" x 48" tall. A wonderful antique mercantile paper roll dispenser and cutter, typically found in U.S. general stores and butcher shops c.1800s-1900s. The original cast iron frame is embossed with The Wright on the movable bar, and patent information on the legs, with each foot notched, likely to secure it in a desired workspace or countertop. The dowel which would hold the large paper roll, appears to be a later addition. Measures approximately 25" x 7" x 12.25" tall.

Early Americana oak and iron Arcadia Manufacturing Company bread/meat/food slicer (patented in1885-1891 by John and Harve Stuart) with seemingly all original parts, designed with a gauge for controlling slice thickness, and folds down when not in use. Also includes a primitive two-piece wooden butter box (for larger blocks of butter) and the dowel-handled butter mold with a horizontal lined design (pattern not shown). Wear is commensurate to age and use. Arcadia slicer measures approximately 21.5" x 12.5" x 9.25" in standing position.

Marked with serial number G478760 which dates the machine to a manufacturing date circa June 1910. Also includes vintage SewWear Embroidery attachment, a scissors, compass, and various parts potentially for maintenance and repair. Antique penny operated Edison Eclipse phonograph with a wooden base, inside a beveled glass box. Inside wooden body is machine pieces including a non-original TYCO hobby transformer and safe with coins. Both the wooden body and safe are locking and come with keys. Included is also a reproduction lithograph or marquee which mounts to top side of base. Collection of ten antique circular and hexagonal intaglios. Intaglio is an Italian word meaning 'to engrave', and can be crafted for use as a wax seal, among other functions. They were popular as castings from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century, and are made from chalk-like material, plaster, clay or soft stone. These intaglios feature crests, crosses, shields, and more, and a few have etched and signed information en verso. The largest measures approximately 2" in diameter x 0.5" thick.

An antique Newhouse Community #5 second model slick pan steel bear trap as designed by Sewell Newhouse and manufactured by Oneida Community in New York between 1863 and 1865. Original forged springs are stamped with maker's name, and trap retains its original swivel chain. Trap measures approximately 14" x 7 x 31" long.

A late 19th-century Russian Orthodox icon of the Virgin of Vladimir, or Our Lady of Vladimir, a 12th-Century Byzantine icon depicting the Virgin and Child, and originally painted in tempura on wood panel by an unknown artist. The work is considered one of the most culturally significant and celebrated pieces of Russian art history, and this replica has been hand-painted and trimmed with a pierced 84 zolotnik silver oklad; no noted artist hallmark. The handwritten note en verso indicates that the icon came from the widow of General Lebedeff (or possibly Lebdev) of Czarist Russia. Measures approximately 6" x 7" tall.
